    I am looking desperately looking for a 3 bedroom house in Cowes or East Cowes to rent. I am looking to rent for six months initially, paying the whole of the six months’ rent in advance, with the option to extend the tenancy agreement if we are both happy. I have always owned my own property, therefore do not have any previous landlords to provide references. However, I can provide references as to my reliability and trustworthiness. I have five people willing to act as guarantor, should one be needed. I believe the fact that I have these references and people willing to be my guarantor demonstrates that I am the sort of person to look after your property, my trustworthiness and ability to pay the rent. I moved in with my mother 13 June 2014 when my ex-husband was awarded custody of our children and I was ordered to leave the former marital home. My mum rented her house from Southern Housing Group and died recently. I have been allowed to stay here temporarily under the use and occupancy arrangements until I find an alternative place to live. I am therefore not a tenant. SHG are looking to find me a one bedroom flat as I am deemed to be single and only need one bedroom. I cannot accept a one bedroom property as this would not be deemed suitable for my children to come and stay. I have been told by SHG that if I refuse any property they offer, I will be making myself voluntarily homeless and that they will evict me. Whilst I am employed, I am currently off sick, but I am working with my employer on a back to work plan, as I will be returning to work either towards the end of August or the beginning of September. My employer can confirm this, my length of service (nearly 8 years), my salary and is happy to provide a reference as to my reliability. I do not smoke, although I do have a cat. She is very well behaved and only uses her litter tray, therefore there are no nasty surprises in the garden or that of the neighbours’. She has scratching boards that she uses, and does not scratch at the carpets, walls or furniture. I need a home where I can feel safe; a space where I can relax and be quiet. I do not have any noisy hobbies; I like to meditate, read and paint. I would live alone, but have my children stay alternate weekends. They are good and quiet children and we spend most of the weekend out walking and playing in the park, so they will not be a bother to anyone. I promise to be a good tenant and treat your property with respect. If there is anything I can provide to demonstrate my suitability as your tenant please let me know and I will provide it, where possible.
